Stanford Township is located in the south western corner of Isanti County. As the
smallest unit of State Government we are responsible for the roads, ditches, rights
of way that border them, bridges, as well as the fire protection of the township
residents. The Township Hall is located on County Road 8, 1.3 miles west of the
junction of County Road 8 and Highway 47. The address is 5050 261st Avenue N.W.,Isanti MN 55040.
Township meetings are open to the public.They are held at the township hall on the
first Monday of the month beginning at 7 p.m. The annual meeting is by statute held
on the second Tuesday of March unless inclement weather forces its rescheduling.
It is at this meeting that the public voice is heard on all matters including the
township tax levy. Special meetings are scheduled as necessary at the discretion
of the townboard supervisors. All official notices are published in the Isanti County
News and on the posting board located in front of the Township Hall.
